Scarlett is the light of my world and her smiling face is all I need to be happy.

Scarlett’s first birthday party is in a few hours!
I’m making spinach and chicken bruschetta, hot wings, salsa, and Velveeta/Rotel dip for tortilla chips.
I mean we also have the other usual stuff like Cheetohs, a birthday cake and all the typical store-bought foods. Plus my dad is bringing in this recipe we made together for pizza rolls (take the pillsbury crescent rolls, wrap them up with mozzarella, and your favorite pizza toppings inside, bake to typical instructions.) It’s gonna be a cute little get together.

I’m excited. Hopefully Scarlett is feeling better when she wakes up. She wasn’t too happy this morning.

I’m so overwhelmed  by just how much I love Scarlett right now I just want to go into her room and snuggle her.

But I don’t want to wake her up.

Life is hard when your daughter is as perfect as mine.
